BEDDING CARE GUIDE

Do

• Machine wash on a gentle cycle using cold to warm water.

• For most cotton and Egyptian cotton bedding, 30–40°C is a practical care range.

• For dark colors, embroidery, lace, ruffles, or decorative details, use cold water or 30°C whenever possible.

• Use a mild liquid detergent and allow it to dissolve fully.

• Wash with similar colors and similar lightweight bedding.

• Rinse thoroughly to help remove detergent residue.

• Wash promptly if the bedding is stained, sweaty, or soiled.

Don’t

• Do not boil wash Egyptian cotton bedding.

• Do not use bleach on colored bedding, embroidery, lace, ruffles, or decorative trims.

• Avoid fabric softener whenever possible, as buildup may reduce cotton’s natural breathability, softness, and fresh feel over time.

• Do not overload the washer.

• Do not wash with towels, jeans, hooks, zippers, Velcro, or rough fabrics.

Do

• Air dry whenever possible in a shaded, well-ventilated place.

• If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat only.

• Remove bedding from the dryer while slightly damp to reduce deep creases, then smooth and finish drying naturally.

• Make sure the bedding is fully dry before folding or storing.

Don’t

• Do not use high heat, as it may weaken fibers, shrink fabric, or set wrinkles.

• Do not leave cotton bedding under strong direct sunlight for long periods, especially colored or embroidered pieces.

• Do not store while damp.

Do

• Iron on low to medium heat if needed, following the care label.

• Iron while slightly damp for smoother results.

• Place a light cloth over embroidery, lace, ruffles, or decorative details before ironing.

Don’t

• Do not iron directly over delicate embroidery, lace, appliqué, buttons, zippers, ruffles, or decorative trims.

• Do not use high heat on delicate finishes unless the care label allows it.

Do

• Treat stains as soon as possible.

• Blot gently instead of rubbing.

• Use a small amount of gentle detergent and cool water for most fresh stains.

• Test any stain treatment on a hidden area first, especially on dark colors, embroidery, lace, or decorative details.

• Check that the stain is fully removed before tumble drying.

Don’t

• Do not rub stains aggressively, as this may push the stain deeper into the fibers.

• Do not place stained bedding in the dryer before the stain is removed, as heat can set the stain.

• Do not use strong stain removers on embroidery, lace, dark colors, or delicate trims without testing first.

Do

• Store bedding only when fully clean and dry.

• Fold loosely to avoid deep creases.

• Store in a breathable cotton bag or clean bedding closet.

• Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors.

Don’t

• Do not store in sealed plastic for long periods, as trapped moisture may cause odor or mildew.

• Do not store heavy objects on top of delicate bedding for long periods.
